Point on Project
Chief taster... for now
Carmen’s Hot Sauce is currently a homemade, vinegar based hot sauce born out of the kitchen of Haitian Carmen [last name]. The goal with this initiative would be to standardize the manufacturing process, scale the output, and export to various countries.
This operation would give a significant number of jobs to Haitians internally, as well as, on the external side. The entire cycle associated with the production of the hot sauce would be extremely beneficial to Haiti’s economy. Internally, it would provide at least 15 stable jobs, with excellent working conditions. As the ingredients will be locally sourced, Carmen’s hot sauce will support the local Haitian farmers. Working closely and consistently with the farmers, Carmen’s hot sauce will help to establish a quality standard and ensure they have stable work.
